Scope of work:

My main work is custom design/build furniture
although I will execute designs by others. My
choice of style and materials is driven by my
client's preferences and appropriateness of the
material for the piece's function.

Some designs must be executed using sheet
stock and veneers, but when possible, pieces are
made of solid stock and to a high standard of
joinery. Typical drawer boxes are dovetailed.

I also fabricate items primarily made of wood that
truly have to be custom made such as prototypes,
test equipment, out-of-production moldings,
architectural elements (brackets, gingerbread
etc), carved work, lathework and so on.

Although I can ship work as necessary, doing
tailor-made, custom work at a distance can
present special problems. Each project's
feasibility has to be individually evaluated.
